Terms of service

By creating an account or using SmarTest Community you agree to these terms and to our Community Guidelines, which form part of this agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old to hold an account. If you are under 18, you should have your parent or guardian's permission. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything done through your account.

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant SmarTest a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute that content within the service, so that we can show it to other students. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies already shared by others or retained in backups for a limited period.

Only post content you have the right to post.

This is the rule we enforce most strictly. SmarTest Community exists to help you learn from past questions — questions from examinations that have already been sat.

You must never use this service to:

• Share, request, or sell live or unreleased examination content.
• Offer or seek impersonation, 'runs', or any form of cheating in an examination.
• Advertise services claiming to supply exam answers in advance.

Content of this kind is removed and the accounts involved are permanently banned, without warning. Where the law requires it, we will cooperate with examination bodies and authorities.

You also agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other people, or post hate speech.
• Spam, flood, or run bots or automated scrapers against the service.
• Impersonate another person, or misrepresent your affiliation with any school or body.
• Attempt to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Post sexual content involving minors, or any other unlawful material.

We apply rate limits to posting and commenting to keep the service usable for everyone.

We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms or the Guidelines. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why. You can report content to our moderation queue using the report action on any post or comment.

SmarTest Community is free, and provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Study material and answers are contributed by students and may contain errors — always verify against your syllabus and your teacher. We do not guarantee any particular examination result, and we are not affiliated with JAMB, WAEC or NECO.

To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, SmarTest is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including examination outcomes or reliance on user-contributed content.

You may delete your account at any time in Settings, which permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may terminate accounts that seriously or repeatedly breach these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If we change them materially, we will update the date above and notify you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
